We encourage all policyholders to notify us of any loss or incident as soon as possible to initiate the claims process promptly.

Step-by-Step Claims Process:

1. Claim Intimation

Notify PGI of the incident through any of the following:

Provide basic details such as:

• Policy number
• Nature of loss (e.g., accident, fire, theft)
• Date, time, and location of the incident
• Contact details of the claimant

2. Documentation Submission

Submit the required supporting documents based on the type of insurance policy. Common documents include:

• Duly filled Claim Form (available for download)
• Copy of CNIC of the insured
• FIR or Police Report (for theft/accident)
• Repair estimates, medical reports, or loss invoices
• Photographs of the damaged property (if applicable)
• Original policy documents (if requested)

3. Survey and Assessment

PGI will appoint an SECP-approved surveyor or claims assessor to inspect the loss/damage and prepare a professional report. You may be contacted for site access or clarification.

4. Claim Evaluation

Our claims team will review:

• Surveyor’s report
• Submitted documents
• Policy terms, conditions, and exclusions

We aim to evaluate and communicate the outcome of the claim within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Settlement and Payment

Following the issuance of a claim acceptance letter, PGI will proceed with the settlement by issuing a cheque to the insured or the designated beneficiary. In cases of partial approval or claim denial, a comprehensive explanation outlining the reasons will be provided.

• All claims must be reported within the time limit specified in the policy terms.
• Incomplete documentation may result in delays or rejection.
• Fraudulent or misrepresented claims are subject to legal consequences and policy cancellation.
